Synopsis: (Continued from TOS #75)
Batroc and Cap pursue the female SHIELD agent who unknowingly clutches a cylinder full of unstable Inferno 42, which threatens to explode and destroy the whole city. The agent tries to elude them inside a SHIELD safehouse. When Cap finally catches up to her, she faints from exposure to the element. While Cap checks on her condition, ever haunted by her familiar beauty, Batroc leaps in, snaps up the cylinder, and races off to his employers.
He hands Inferno 42 to the terror masters, who place it inside a containment receptacle to stop its countdown to explosion. But Cap has followed Batroc to their headquarters and is ready to end matters once and for all.
While the masterminds of the plot escape with the Inferno 42, Cap has a showdown with Batroc, and as their brutal fight wears on, Batroc decides to retreat, so as to flee the city before it explodes from the chemical compound.
But Cap calmly heads back to check on the health of the SHIELD agent, who seems to be on the verge of succumbing to chemical poisoning. The young woman, though extremely sick, expresses great relief at having switched the cylinder with another dummy before Batroc escaped with it....
