Synopsis: (Continued from TOS #70)

While Nazi guards load Cap and Celia into the V-2 rocket, they toss Dr. Rawlings into a dungeon cell, taunting him for thinking he would ever have a role in the Nazi world. Cap revives and fights back against his captors, escaping from them but being pinned down in a corner by their gunfire.

Uberhart threatens to kill Bucky if Cap doesn't surrender, but Bucky also revives from his gas attack and fights back, helping Cap get his shield. Cap hurls the shield at his attackers, knocking them down like bowling pins.

Celia manages to free herself as well, and in a final display of courage, she throws herself in front of a gun aimed at Cap. The gun fires, and mortally wounded, her last words inform Cap of a radio transmission she had overheard moments before the melee began that said his Army Ranger unit had been trapped inside France.

Cap realizes there is only one way to help his comrades in time. They summon Dr. Rawlings, who is still in despair over his sister's death and ready to make good. He agrees to change the flight path of the V-2 rocket from London to France, where it will take out the Nazi stronghold. After the rocket is launched, Greymoor Castle collapses after a tremendous explosion ignited by the mad, grieving Dr. Rawlings. Bucky and Cap leap to safety, but Dr. Rawlings' life is claimed under the rubble. Meanwhile, the V-2 rocket finds its target and saves Steve Rogers' Ranger unit.
