Synopsis: This is a "Remake" of a Cap story from Captain America Comics #1 titled "Case No. 2".

In the early days of WWII, before America had entered combat on the side of the Allies, Sando and Omar perform a stage show at packed houses. Omar, under the supposed control of Sando, "projects" an image of a column of US Army tanks exploding at Forth Lehigh.

Suspicious of the Omar and Sando act after just such an incident occurs, Steve and Bucky decide to attend a show. There, they uncover a camera projecting images of sabotage into Sando's crystal ball. Cap breaks up the duo's plot and grabs hold of Sando, but before he can get more information as to what's going on, Sando's goons have taken Bucky and a special agent posing as a news reporter hostage.

Sando reveals himself to be Wolfgang Von Kranz, a fifth columnist taking direct orders from Adolf Hitler. The Nazi thugs are no match for Cap, though, who overpowers his assailants and allows Bucky and the special agent to fight back. After the melee calms down, and Omar is revealed to simply be a pawn, the agent introduces herself as "Agent Thirteen", a fellow fighter for freedom.

Cap and Bucky race back to Fort Lehigh before the irascible Sgt. Duffy notices they've gone.
