Cap flies back towards England, certain he is heading into a trap, but determined to save Bucky anyway. As Maj. Uberhart and Dr. Rawlings set up Bucky in a trap for Cap, the doctor's sister, Celia, begs him to reconsider. Knowing that Cap is coming, Uberhart sends a radio signal threatening Bucky's life if he doesn't cooperate with them.
Evading British fighter pilots, Cap lands the German plane in a nearby grove and decides to do what they least expect: a direct frontal assault! He bursts through the door of the castle and finds Bucky tied up to a table, though unbeknownst to him, it is boobytrapped with a sleeping gas. But from the shadows, Celia Rawlings races to alert Cap to the gas, and then the excitement begins!
Uberhart grabs Celia and uses her as a human shield, firing at Cap with his pistol, while Nazis dressed in armor hiding in plain sight emerge to attack him with their swords and maces. While Cap is occupied with these Nazi henchmen and trying to stay safe under a hail of bullets, Uberhart floods the chamber with a sleeping gas, bringing Cap down.
Meanwhile, back in France, the Nazi reinforcements arrive, pushing Steve Rogers' Ranger unit back to the beach. Sgt. Duffy looks all around for Steve, and figures he's become a deserter!
Back at Greymoor, Uberhart has taken over the compound and decided to launch a V-2 missile towards London, with Cap and Celia Rawlings on board! Dr. Rawlings protests, but Uberhart shames him and tells him the Nazis were just using him to draw Cap into a trap. Then, he prepares to fire the rocket....
