Synopsis: (continued from ST #134)

Dr. Strange is still lurking around for the secret of Eternity, keeping a low profile out of costume so Baron Mordo won't find him. He makes his way to the castle of a former disciple of the Ancient One, Sir Baskerville. While Sir Baskerville welcomes him inside and promises to help him, Dormammu is busy trying to find out who traitorously released the Mindless Ones on him (see ST #132). Through the use of his mystic powers, it is revealed to him that it was Clea. Meanwhile, Sir Baskerville is under the sway of Baron Mordo, and he contacts his master to tell him of Dr. Strange's whereabouts. Mordo sends one of his disciples out to destroy Dr. Strange. The pair set a trap for Dr. Strange, who must escape by inhabiting a suit of armor and running out of the castle, then faking the disciple out and knocking him unconscious. Mordo loses contact with his evil emissary and sends out a cavalcade of spirit wraiths to finish the job. Meanwhile, Dr. Strange plumbs the mind of Mordo's disciple and it is revealed to him with certainty that Dormammu is behind all Mordo's advanced powers. Dr. Strange manages to fool the oncoming spirits into thinking he has fled once again, and they go off on a wild goose chase. Once again, Dr. Strange has slipped through the fingers of Baron Mordo.

(continued in ST #136.)
