Synopsis: (continued from ASM #63)

While JJJ and Robbie Robertson look on, the Vulture makes several passes at Spider-Man, sizing up his foe's wounded arm and making sure to press his advantage with the injured Spidey. The battle gets very fierce and begins to head close to the vantage point of the Bugle publishers. The Vulture collides with a billboard, raining debris down upon Robbie and knocking him out. So enraged is Jameson that he grabs Spider-Man and pins his arms back so the Vulture can more easily put him away. Spider-Man sheds JJJ easily and webs him up so he can't be a further nuisance.

Meanwhile, Mary Jane shows up at Aunt May's to show off her "ginchy new hairdo", and Capt. Stacy gets his memory back and tells Gwen that Peter was trying to help him, not hurt him. This brings Gwen tremendous relief and joy.

While the fight between Spider-Man and the Vulture continues, the hero decides to play possum to draw the Vulture close to him, then suddenly grabs the Vulture and rips into the power pack that energizes his suit, destroying it. The Vulture is able to retreat, flying off like a wounded bird, but the battle has taken its toll on Spider-Man, who passes out in the middle of a crowded street.....
